1.5" Martingale Collars

All Martingale collars are made on a strong seatbelt-webbing base, and covered with your choice of vivid printed or batik-dyed quilting cottons. The inside is lined with soft satin for your dog's comfort. Sewn on industrial machines using strong nylon thread. Welded hardware. Machine washable (for top load machines, use a mesh wash bag). Custom lengths available.

We stand behind our products and put a great deal of care and attention into every item we make. No returns unless product defective in materials or workmanship upon delivery. If, during your product's normal lifespan, it sustains damage through accident, neglect or other, we may be able to repair it for a reasonable fee.

Martingale collars slip on and off over your dog's head. They are meant to be loose enough to be comfortable, but with a leash clipped to the D-ring, will tighten enough to prevent your dog from slipping out of them. To properly size a martingale collar, use a soft tape measure to measure the size of your dog's head. When pulled tight on your dog's neck, the collar should have no more than about a finger's width between the hardware.

We recommend removing all collars, including Martingale-style collars, when your dog is unsupervised.

All fabric/webbing collars benefit from regular cleaning. A clean collar looks better, smells better (!) and lasts longer. Our Martingale collars can be hand- or machine-washed. If machine washing, be sure to put your collar in a mesh wash bag. This is vitally important in top-loading washing machines. Hang to dry.
